How can I help to keep the System Explorer Free for all?

We want to keep this software as freeware, but we must pay for domain, web and files hosting, electric.... We don't count our development time. Over one year we had the Donation button on main page. Received donations were not enough for pay domain and hosting. Anyway thanks for all donations.

We changed strategy for System Explorer 2.0. Donation button was removed from web and added as small donation link to application. Web pages contains few ads now.

If you want to help us keep this software free and under development, you can try bring new users to our site. If you like System Explorer, tell about it to your friends, in forums, in facebooks, or you can send us small donation. Part of Ads income will be invested for propagation of System Explorer (Via Google Ads System)

Can be System Explorer used as Task Manager Replacement?

You can enable Task Manger replacement in menu "Options>Replace Task Manager".

This option is not available for 64bit operating systems and Windows 7. BUT....You can still use System Explorer as Task Manager Replacement. Just use "CTRL+ALT+INS" hotkey instead of "CTRL+ALT+DEL".

What is difference between Installer and Portable version?

The application is same but the Installer version register System Explorer to Start Menu, Uninstallers and prepare directory for storing System Explorer data. Portable version don't proceed any registration and datas are stored in binary directory.

Portable version of System Explorer is detected as virus. What should I do?

Cool down. This is probably false positive. System Explorer portable uses binary compression. This compression makes exe file smaller, but makes antiviruses nervous. You can check System Explorer binary via virustotal service or use installer version of System Explorer.

How to start System Explorer minimized (in tray) ?

Start SystemExplorer.exe with parameter "/tray".

Who develop System Explorer?

Our team contains two developers. We live in Czech Republic and this is our "free time" project.
